  OverallGrowing up with Saturday morning cartoons in the 1970s, I've always had a soft spot for nostalgia, so these new Dynamite comics are a real treat. Herculoids is one show I never really got to seeI don't recall it airing on UK TV when I was old enough to noticeso this comic serves as my introduction to them, and it works pretty well. I love the concept of a planet rich in resources being protected by a team of prehistoric guardians. Meeting them for the first time was a blast, and I'm looking forward to following their adventures. I might even try to track down an episode or two of the animated series on YouTube if I can find them. Read Full Review

  This was the perfect introduction to The Herculoids for those that are unfamiliar. It was a simple and straightforward narrative that gave us all the information we needed. We were introduced to new characters and given a refresher on familiar ones. The story moved a good pace and the artwork felt organic and honored the original. If you were a fan of the cartoon you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you know nothing about The Herculoids, you'll be introduced to a fascinating world that captured the imagination of fans like myself decades ago! Read Full Review

  THE HERCULOIDS #1 is a fun, continuation of the classic Hanna-Barbera series when ruthless mercenaries pick the wrong planet to invade. Tom Sniegoski's script is a pitch-perfect continuation of the classic cartoon, and the art team's portrayal of the classic team is on point.   The late 1960s found Hanna-Barbera a degree of success with Space Ghost and a few other cartoons. Somewhere in the midst of introducing a few new cartoons for the 1968 Saturday morning line-up they created a group of weird space fantasy heroes who protected the fictional planet of Amzot. It was probably one of the stranger space fantasy ensembles to come out of the late 20th century. As such it never really managed much of an impact on the pop cultural consciousness.
