    Analog Addiction - Jideobi Odunze

Very exciting issue in which Buccellato has written a great build up to a conclusion worth reading. It's dark, it's gritty, and Cliquet maintains that consistency which makes the scenes so intense. Black Bat is a fun book that you wouldn't regret reading if not because he kicks ass. Sure it took some time for things to pick up, but when they did it was for the better. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Joey Caswell

The latest installment in the Black Bat series was one of the best issues of the book in recent months. The entire issue was thrilling with excitement and intrigue around the corner of every panel. The fast-paced nature of issue #6 made for a gripping read without sacrificing story development. This is the direction the character has been crafted for. Buccellato has paced the series with masterful precision and there are some big pay-offs for readers this month. Read Full Review

Comic Vine - Tony 'G-Man' Guerrero

THE BLACK BAT continues to be a fun and action packed series. Brian Buccellato is fleshing out his own little corner with the introduction and continued adventure of the Black Bat. Ronan Cliquet captures the action and switches things around during the action scenes to add to the excitement. There are some moments the art and color feels a little too dark. The story continues to build up to a pretty big cliffhanger. It's pretty safe to say you'll want to read the next issue to see what happens next. Read Full Review
