Mar 27, 2017These are different and interesting takes on the standard characters. Dynamite is clearly taking some risks here in order to bring new life to these franchises. It will be interesting to see how each of these characters is developed and how they are brought together. Read Full Review

Apr 05, 2017I found myself very satisfied with Sovereigns #0. It shows that Dynamite has a plan for these heroes that shouldn't fall to the background. If that means bringing some back with a new identity, then that might just be the way to go because at the same time you want these stories to bring in new readers while still attracting the long time fans. The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge
Apr 05, 2017The Sovereign's is the kind of book where there's a whole lot of potential to work with if the creators - and the publisher - really takes a chance with it. The stories here are interesting enough and have plenty of potential that I'll certainly dig into the first couple of issues of each because I do enjoy the characters and how malleable their stories can be. I'm not sure it's the best kind of introductory issue for a lot of things but it should be given some space simply for the fact that they're offering it up at a loss basically with it costing just a buck. That makes it worth checking out as you may find something really interesting in it. And with a good slate of creators involved there's definitely a lot to be interested in. Read Full Review

Apr 06, 2017As I have said before, Dynamite are having something of a renaissance; the quality if their books is beyond compare, even if at time they can over play their hand. This book is a great way for readers, old and new, to get to know some of the classic characters of yesteryear, presented with style and vigour. Read Full Review

Apr 07, 2017In a glutted market dominated by trading on established IP, "Sovereigns" does enough to be familiar and novel with a cult cast. Read Full Review

Apr 11, 2017No need to reiterate the list of well-known and successful artist and writers, but there is something here for everyone. This is really little more than a taste of things to come, but each section looks pretty juicy and likely to stand on their own. Read Full Review

Outright Geekery - Trevor Brown
Apr 05, 2017All four stories are well written and the art work of a future apocalyptic world is very imaginative. What brief glimpse we are given. The only difficulty may be that we will have to jump from issue to issue if you are only interested in one or two of the stories or you might be stuck following all four since they do seem to be keyed together. The question is, will you stay around to unlock them all? Read Full Review

Apr 15, 2017So overall I'd recommend to keep an eye out for these new books except for Dr Spektor. That type of story has been done better. Read Full Review

All-Comic - Chris Campbell
Apr 06, 2017Overall the book is good, though short, and it shows potential for a great reboot for each of the individual heroes. As far as "The Sovereigns" storyline goes, it is too early to tell. It seems to have potential, but there just wasnt enough in the 18 pages to get a sense of how things will go. This introduction is only $1.00, so you won't be out much if you don't like it, but the artwork and writing are definitely worth more than the cover price. Read Full Review
