Super Hero Hype - Matt Morrison

Harley Quinn X Elvira is every bit as dark and delightfully inappropriate as one would expect and/or hope. The script captures both characters perfectly, as does the artwork. This comic is the perfect kick-off to spooky season. Read Full Review

    Nerd Initiative - Richard Coryell

This first issue is a lot of fun and really sets the tone for what will inevitably be a super entertaining series. Amanda Conner & Jimmy Palmiotti really capture the essence of both main characters well having a ton of fun in the process. In a world of writers who try and make characters overly serious, this fun take is a breath of fresh air. The ridiculous premise really opens up the possibilities of where this story will go. The sexual based humor is funny and never feels cringy or in bad taste. Read Full Review

A fun opening issue that looks to make for one of the more unique and entertaining inter-company crossovers that we've had in some time. Read Full Review

    KPB Comics - Chris Hernandez

Harley Quinn X Elvira #1 is exactly what you should expect from this creative team and pairing: a chaotic, rubbery, and incredibly fun joyride. It's a ridiculous, colorful start to what promises to be one of the wackiest crossovers of the year. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

Theoretically, the series could've gone in more of a serious direction with some very clever comedy around the edges of everything. That might've been a little bit more satisfying. As it is, it's a very rubbery and strangely enjoyable trip between two covers with two very iconic characters that seem perfectly paired together. It's kind of too bad that they didn't go for something with a little bit more gravity to it. The characters have enough background that they could theoretically support something with a little bit more depth. It's too bad that they didn't want to embrace that. Read Full Review

    Comical Opinions - Gabriel Hernandez

HARLEY QUINN X ELVIRA #1 is less "world's finest tricksters and more "world's loudest train wreck. The art delivers punch after punch, but the plot throws Harley's character under every passing bus, even the ones Elvira tried to avoid. If you love cringe-worthy misfires and want to see Harley Quinn at her absolute worst, saddle up. Otherwise, let Elvira's bidet have the last word. It's a cleaner escape than this issue offers Read Full Review
