It appears that Wonder Woman is about to get the clapping again it seems and things brighten for the Amazons. We've been seeing a lot of build up for this clash coming where Rucka has been incredible in world building and dialogue, it's going to be time for action and hands being thrown. I'm interested to see how the battle will be scripted out with (according to Batman [pre-New 52]) The best melee fighter on Earth in the mix. Read Full Review

The straight-forward narrative of Godwatch has fortunately bled into The Truth, as this issue moved along fine and swiftly. The dialogue and the relationship between all the characters worked, especially with the excellent storytelling of the previous Godwatch issue. The surprising ending solidifies the threat of the Diana's enemies, and I hope it continues to impact the character. Read Full Review

This issue is a big deal, because it basically will rewrite a lot of Wonder Woman's past. I'm very interested and excited to see what Rucka has planned moving forward. Especially with how this issue ended. Read Full Review

The cover to Wonder Woman #15 featured a very arresting image of Diana wracked with insanity and locked away in a psychiatric institution. Sadly, this arc hasn't really exploited that premise to its fullest, treating her incarceration more as a temporary burden to be borne and then cast aside easily enough in this issue. I have to admit, having missed a couple of issues, this wasn't the easiest story to work my way into, but it was worth it once I was engaged, and the art made up for the serialized nature of the story. Wonder Woman #19 is well-drawn, well-constructed, full of mystery and excitement and ends with a serious band, making me want next issue immediately. Read Full Review

It seems that Wonder Woman is building up speed just in time for this summer's film release. It should be interesting to see where Rucka and DC are going to take the Amazon. Read Full Review

This issue is a bit of a letdown from what we usually get out of this series because both the art and the story seemed to be cluttered with filler of things we've already seen to things that didn't seem to matter at all and the biggest problem I had with this issue is that our hero is just fine now that we need her back in the story with no sign of an explanation about how this could be.   Read Full Review

The issue is ultimately dull, to be honest. I really enjoy the past story line but this present day one does not engage me. The art is strong but there's nothing in the story that I found appealing. It still feels very slow to me, with Diana taking a decent amount of issues just to recover, so that they can go on their way to somewhere else. I like Rucka, but I feel that these issues need to pick up the pace a bit.

starts with Wonder Woman maybe recovered? feeling better.. with the Ferdinand minotaur guy... then we see Veronica Cale finishing up her plans.. sending out a team to do something big it seems... and Cheetah writhing in pain and hunger... Wonder Woman thinks that she has never really been back to Themyscira since leaving the first time. it was all a lie. but she needs to get there now. she thinks Veronica Cale knows how.... we see a scene on Themyscira where the warriors are losing faith.. then they see the Patrons there under/near the ugly tree and this tells them that Diana is "on the move" and "even Olympus has stirred" because of it. Wonder Woman and team break into some place and confront a hologram of Doctor Cyber.. that taunts them... but it basically tells the story.. of how the "gods" that have attacked since Wonder Woman arrived, caused all this trouble.. they blame Wonder Woman... we see some sniper taking aim right at Wonder Woman's head... the art goes straight to hell... and then Wonder Woman gets shot from behind with a bullet that enters her upper back and exits under her boob.. she falls. better than a 7 simply for the epicness of what is going on... strange art tho... more
