Buddy you should read the series as a whole. Warren Ellis has been phenomenal on this book.

Forces Of Geek - Lenny Schwartz
Jul 03, 2019That last image, as well as the entire series, is beautifully rendered by Jon Davis-Hunt. He has done a tremendous job Illustrating the scripts by Ellis. These two creators worked wonderfully together and the series ends on a high note. They have more than accomplished what they set out to do and this book works on a deeper level too. Jul 03, 2019A fitting finale to a truly remarkable series, this issue is full of drama, action and out and out heroism, all presented in a glorious package by the Ellis/Davis-Hunt/Buccellato/Bowland team that has kept a mostly consistent standard of quality throughout the run. A satisfying enough ending that isn't an ending, really. Bring on WildCATs and hopefully that book can live up to the fantastic action scenes of this book.

Coming in on issue 23 and 24 on a 24-issue arc sucks. Especially because this ended so powerfully. Thing is, I have zero frame of reference on this book. I don't know the characters, who's good or bad, but it's clear that the book had something going for itself. Love the sequence with the diverting of the "missile" to instead blow up the spaceship. Beautiful, well executed. Simple yet distinctive art. Perfect for the purpose. 7.0/10. Probably would be higher if I had context.
