The Terrifics is consistently the most fun of the titles that I read every month. At this point, I am fully convinced that Gene Luen Yang gets The Terrifics, and was the ideal choice to take over the title. Kudos to Yang and to the art team as well. Read Full Review

The Terrifics #20 succeeds in all the right ways as a follow up to its immediate predecessor, its preceding arc, and as a standalone introduction to a veritably trippy arc. It's a masterful example of visual story-telling and a truly comic book type comic that embraces the past to show a promising future. Read Full Review

The Terrifics is back on track with a fun issue. Hopefully the creative team can keep it on track as it's been one of DC's more enjoyable team books over the last couple of years. Read Full Review

The invasion of the backwards was one hell of a trip this week. The Terrifics #20 proved once more that we have fun when this creative team clearly looks like they have fun breathing life into this madness. This is definitely one of those stories where we just have to brace for the unexpected, because right now it is anything goes with Bizarro in the driver's seat. Read Full Review

Even when The Terrifics isn't working 100% perfectly, it's still doing something visually and narratively unique, and that's definitely worth celebrating. Read Full Review

    Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield

Overall it's a fun issue with some clever visual gimmicks, but the major threat this arc doesn't really click with me " and the return of Boyzarro at the end of the issue makes it look like we're going to get more of the abusive Bizarro that ruined that arc, which is my least favorite take on the usually good-natured character. The Terrifics not only found itself a nice niche within the DC universe, but also managed to be one of the most consisten and quality series out there. It's so vibrant, fun and character focused, it's hard to find anything even remotely similar to it on the market right now. It's a perfect bland of self-aware comedy, action and development for the main cast. And it's been like that since the very beginning. This issue focuses on Phantom Girl and her struggles. That's a much welcomed plot line, since so far, she's been usually in the shadows of her team mates, already established names in comics. She definitely needs o be put in the limelight from time to time, grow and mature. This month's issue is a step in the right direction. Overa more

"You can't have nostalgia for a time you don't remember." Loved the jabs at Rob Liefeld's art style.

Prelude: Boy, I am not going to write another review in Bizarro speak. That was too much hassle last time. The Good: Man, this story is a load of fun. Also loved the time travel in this story. Phantom Girl got some unexpected character progression which I loved. The Bad: The time travel was a bit confusing on how it worked. Especially with the cliffhanger. Conclusion: Quite a fun story that focused on our characters but the time travel involved hinders the story somewhat.

Ok, this was much better than the past few issues. Loving this sort of time-travelling stuff, which is executed really well.

    I hate Bizarro-speak. Especially inconsistent Bizarro-speak.
