Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles

All around, Teen Titans #6 was a smoother, more enjoyable read than the previous arc. If this is the new norm, the Teen Titans is on the right path to become a strong read each month. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Eric Cline

This is a great issue. It's fun, colorful, introduces Aqualad in a promising manner, and switches the series from being a Damian Wayne book guest-starring the Teen Titans to a true Teen Titans book. Read Full Review

Very nice opening chapter for our next arc.  This issue offers an easily accessible jumping on point for new readers, while advancing both the story and the characters.  Percy's dialogue is (for the most part) spot-on, while it seems Koi Pham is feeling more at home with this great cast of characters. Issue #6 does a great job of interweaving light-hearted moments with some serious, soul searching moments, and I can always appreciate a story that that takes my emotions from one end of the spectrum to the other. I'm very much looking forward to seeing Jackson join the Teen Titans, and I'm also looking forward to seeing the resolution of the return of a classic villain. You'll have to read it yourself to find out who! Read Full Review

We The Nerdy - Aron Pohara

    Mar 22, 2017

Overall, Teen Titans #6 is a fun read. We were introduced to a Young Justice character, whose introduction is handled admirably and does not seem forced. On the other hand, the cast is slowly growing, so it looks like some of the characters might be taking a backseat to others from time to time. That is fine for now, but the book is called Teen Titans, and being a team book, everyone should be getting equal page space. Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Brian Warshaw

A very good start to the book's second arc,Teen Titans #6 has plenty to laugh at, while trimming (much of) the undesirable elements that clung to the fringes of “Damian Knows Best”. Aqualad's prior fame makes him intriguing enough, but his introduction here stands on its own, and I'm excited to spend more time with him. Great work from Pham, Von Grawbadger, and Charalampidis brings Percy's vision to life with energy and style. If it doesn't already have one, you ought to give this book a spot on your list. In Teen Titans #6 Beast boy invites a local news reporter, Bonnie Chung to come shine some light on Teen Titan Tower and interview the team. Within minutes she is Kidnapped by someone or something. Due to that, it's up to our Teen Titans to spring into action and find her. A great introduction to the characters we know and love. All in all, I think Titans fans will generally be pleased that the team feels like a bunch of teenagers hanging out rather than the bad characterizations that plagued the "New 52." Read Full Review

The Batman Universe - Ryan Blair

Who knows if these questions will be answered? But I can definitely say that I am looking forward to finding out. Percy has been doing an excellent job on Teen Titans and his partner Khoi Pham has done a great job in showcasing the teen super heroes…even if they were just eating pizza and playing with their oversized were-manbats. I think we will be in for a treat with the introduction of Aqualad as his water powers will definitely be something to behold and Pham is definitely up for that challenge. Read Full Review

    Comicosity - Allen Thomas

Im a firm believer that comics should reflect reality, but Teen Titans #6 does so for Jackson in a way that doesnt feel like his background matters. Its only a setup, driving him toward the Titans, not a realistic way of explaining his experiences with pain, hurt, and oppression. Beyond his story, there are other moments, in writing and art, that detract from the feel of this new arc. Jackson has been touted as the next major member of this team, but for him to feel like he was worth the wait, the story itself needs some drastic changes. Read Full Review

DC Comics News - Danny Saab

The banter and chemistry between the Teen Titans was great, but Aqualad's side story did bring the book down for me. I'm not sure why Percy felt it necessary to bring up Aqualad's sexual orientation either. Perhaps it was to demonstrate how hewas feeling different then everyone else, or for shock value. Either way, the story in general fell flat, and made me uninterested in Aqualad, which is really to bad as his character was great in Young Justice. Here's hoping that Percy can make me care about Aqualad again. Read Full Review

    Major Spoilers - Matthew Peterson

In short, Teen Titans #8 feels like an attempt to recapture the 'Day In The Life' stories that Wolfman & Perez were so good at back in the day, but instead feels unfocused and fragmental, with some confusing bits of art and an unclear sense of time. Read Full Review
