Teen Titans #43

I loved every panel of Teen Titans #43, because it's an exciting time to be reading this series. We're moving away from the more supernatural and mythological world of genies, and angels, and more towards old school Gotham, and classic villains, that long term fans will get a real kick out of. We've got the Teen Titans trying to find justice for a murdered villain, but what do they do when the murderer is one of their own?  It's a cool concept that I look forward to, but this issue feels like it wanted to cram too much into this, with Batman and the KGBeast on top of what we were currently dealing with and the transitions and jumps to conclusions felt off here.  The art is great, but I want more out of this title in the long run. For me, this issue never really comes together as anything more that themes we've seen play out already. The whole Robin is going down a dark path story has grown overly repetitive, and this issue does little to make it any more interesting than what we've seen before. The team has potential, and while I want to enjoy their part of the investigation at this point I'm so tired of the book doing the same thing over and over I just want something new. If you're looking for a good team book, I'd suggest looking elsewhere for now. Read Full Review

There's likely a twist buried beneath all of this, but Teen Titans #43 doesn't offer readers much of a reason to stick around. Instead, it simply moves the pieces about its board in a fashion that would have been aping one of the best series of its time, if only it had appeared 40 years ago. Read Full Review

All this shit was to turn Damian into a villain, why ???! who the hell thinks someone wants this ?? I hate this, this whole damn book was only to hurt a child! ???? fuck this!!
