Teen Titans #51 was a well done issue. McKeever impressed me with his debut on this title. I am confident that the Teen Titans are going to be just fine in the capable hands of McKeever. This is certainly a great jumping on point for new readers. Teen Titans is definitely a title that is worth the cover price. Read Full Review

The only problem - one that is shared by many such time travel stories - is that McKeever never quite makes it clear just how the future Titans' scheme would accomplish their goals. Still, all the rich internal conflict of the first story plays out here, once again in physical manifestations. By using the budding romance between Robin and Wonder Girl as a main emotional theme of this story, McKeever keeps the soap opera-style character conflict boiling at the surface at all times, and Tim Drake's struggle against his future self to avoid becoming a close-minded sociopath is as entertaining as ever. I could have done without the inclusion of Starro and a bunch of D-list villains, but so far I'd call this a mostly worthy follow-up to one of my favorite stories in recent years. Read Full Review

Will this initial arc by the teen-titan writer wrap up as easily as it appears, or will there be some keen twist in an issue or two? Id be all for this arc continuing for more than four or six issues. Lets have some great fights, some more time traveling and one hell of an ending to this salvo. That will get this book added to my pull list. Drive-by arcs are boring the bull-butter out of me. Read Full Review
