Swamp Thing #11

The Swamp Thing is one of those series that even the bits in the "Negatives section don't actually affect the rating. There's interesting character bits, a theme that relates to anyone and everyone and some exciting plot points all delivered in some truly beautiful and evocative art. I've been wanting to start reading swamp thing and this sounded like a great time to check it out. Wow!! I was blown away by this! I thought the writing was phenomenal ( which is no surprise as ram v has been on fire) and the artwork was also phenomenal. After reading this I have to read the back issues. This is definitely on my pull list now

One of DC's best titles returns. This issue was primarily a re-introduction, but its pristine execution makes it a spectacular read nonetheless. The stakes are raised high, and Mike Perkins's art creates a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere for both the real world and the world of the Green.

This was certainly an intriguing start to "Season Two." While this issue seems to be the start of a slower burn,I think there are a good amount of interesting ideas presented here and I'm looking forward to seeing V. develop and build upon them. Plus, Perkins continues to have quality art here and I'm glad he's returned for "Season Two." I don't really have much to say, other than the fact that this series continues to maintain my interest
