Pinas finishes over Saizs layouts are a mixed bag. At a distance, the art is serviceable. The story telling is clear and the design for the Avatar of the Grey is so cool. But upon closer inspection, many faces and finer details are haphazardly in an attempt to meet the deadlines. Read Full Review

Overall another great issue for this week. Writer Charles Soule provides a satisfying ending to a pretty intrigueing arc that I'm sure was unpredictable for most readsers . If you enjoyed Chrales's previous work or even enjoyed Scott Snyder'ss run with Swamp Thing then you will definately want to be reading this series. So Swamp Thing #31 is another great issue of an excellent run. Its shaping up to be an amazing series and will have fans greatly looking forward to seeing where things go from here. Jesus Siaz is an awesome artist and has produced some stellar pencils for this book, and with the combination of Charles Soules writing talents Swamp Thing #31 is a book that youll want to have read, especially if you're a fan of the series. The Sureen may be defeated for now, but with the introduction of the Grey and a reveal in the last few pages that shows that there's more going on here than we thought, it's clear that this arc will reverberate through this title for a while yet. Nothing Soule has done so far has been for no reason, and I expect the enemies and friends that he makes in this issue are far from finished with Swamp Thing's world. Read Full Review

Swamp Thing #31 ends the Gift of the Sureen arc, but just feels like a letdown.  While the book expands on the Swamp Thing mythos and looks great, nothing gets resolved.  Maybe it's unfair to say, but i expect more from Charles Soule. Read Full Review

Great issue that uses real-world themes to an extent we usually dont see in superhero comics. Character developments and action are loaded up in this issue. Soule and crew are looking great and i recommend this series
