Oct 13, 2010Eddy Barrows' pencils are back in full force this time around. His high impact artwork brings the action sequences to life and diverse panel layouts do an excellent job of switching up the talking heads segments. I have no problem getting this book a few weeks late if it means Barrows draws every single page of it. Hopefully next month's break gives the artist enough time to put out more the same high caliber work. Read Full Review

Oct 16, 2010The series just feels... disappointing so far. I'm usually patient with an attempt at something different, but so far J. Michael Straczynski's efforts here are just so-so. Read Full Review

Still"nine issues left to go with this arc feels like quite a lot, and unless JMS can kick it up a notch, I'm going to have a hard time justifying the expenditure to keep up. Read Full Review

Oct 27, 2010Yeah, Superman walking around Main Street AS Superman is pretty dumb since he's inviting trouble, but where does it say that once you became a super-hero that was it, you could never live amongst regular citizens again?! Once again, UGH. I don't even feeling like spending any more time talking about this one, so let's just end things right here. Read Full Review

Oct 15, 2010The only reason to pick up this issue is to marvel at the ridiculousness of every single panel. At a price tag of $4, trust me, it's not worth it. Read Full Review
