Tomasi has written them so brilliantly that it's clear that while they still have plenty of growing up to do, they are on the right trajectory to surpass the cape and cowl before long. Super Sons #16 was an excellent story arc for fans of this book looking for another reason to believe in this team being more than a younger version of the World's Finest. They have their own way of tackling problems, and their solutions aren't so predictable either. For another arc that was a few issues, the pacing was excellent and held momentum from start to finish. This has been a nice little run for Superboy and the Damian Wayne Robin. They seemed an unlikely pairing to star in a title. Yet, good writing and fine characterizations prevailed. I'll be reading the new series come August. Read Full Review

Super Sons #16 is a fun and energetic finale to Peter J. Tomasis tale of two sons. The heroes continue to entertain, and it leaves it open-ended for the upcoming Adventures of the Super Sons maxiseries. In any case, this book earns a recommendation. Check it out. Read Full Review

Super Sons #16 was fun way to end to this first volume of the series. Peter Tomasi delivered an ending that paid off on the growth Robin and Superboy have showed over the course of this series run. The ending with Superman and Batman praising their sons felt well-earned as it set up the next phase of Superboy and Robin's adventures as a duo. If you are a Batman or Superman fan and you haven't read Super Sons than I highly recommend fixing that right away. This is a fun series that will put a smile on your face. Read Full Review

A wonderful and heartfelt finale to one of the best series I've read in years. Loved the bond between Jon and Damian and their fun, crazy adventures together. This book was filled with so much heart and spectacle that a lot of comics seem to lack nowadays. Curious to see what they do with the new series later this summer. Can't wait

I'm going to really miss the series - it truly is a shame it got cancelled, because Super Sons were able to perfectly combine youthhful energy with proper heroic action and plenty of heartwarming humor. This finale concludes the run, and does it brilliantly, I may add. Farewell, Super Sons, hopefully you'll return one day!
