Harley Quinn #8 is a lovely issue. Harleys first hug with Ivy is a reward, as if part of what she has been looking for has been achieved. The comic is so exceptionally emotional, relying on its heart for strength. Phillips may be one of the best dialogue writers in the business, whether it be philosophical narrations or hysterical quips. The reader can hear Harleys voice in their head when they read her lines. Harley Quinn #8 is another solid issue from Stephanie Phillips and Riley Rossmo. I never expected that a Harley Quinn series would be one of my favourite series, but Phillips has managed to hook me with her interpretation of the character. Rossmo and Plascencia continue to use their signature modern and fantasy inspired styling to illustrate Harley's Gotham City. The coloring is bold and eye catching. There is also an attention to detail that makes even the background scenery captivating. Overall, this is a well done issue that perfectly matches the tone of the story. Read Full Review

Another fun entry to be read here. This title is underrated in some issues, sometimes it fails to live up to its previous great issues. This one, I’m happy to report, exceeds other issues in the title to make #8 one of the better issues.

Yeah, sure, if you're fat and can't deal with it just join a Joker gang and start killing people, it's perfectly reasonable and totally understandable. Also, a civilian single-handedly beats magistrate goons like they're nothing even though the whole Bat-family is having trouble with them because if we're not going to make sense, why the hell not?
