@thecimmerian I was listening to the Weird Science Comics podcast talking about this issue and I had to see it for myself. Yikes!

This just in, ya gal's been cursed! And now she's gotta use magic and travel the Multiverse and deal with...cartoon fish and higher beings? What in the Earth-6 is going on?! Apr 25, 2023Final ThoughtsI had a blast reading Harley Quinn #29 and the series has moved up to be in my top 5 current favorite series. This issue has just the right mix of humor and drama and Zatanna and Harley are so much fun together! I hope Tini Howard has her stay around for a while. As Zatanna would say: dednemmocer ylhgiH! Apr 25, 2023This comic is not the worst thing I've ever read for Harley. However, it's really a let-down for me because of the continuous problems DC editorial has had with how they depict and market the character. I saw someone the other day saying that it's been too many years of Harley being used this way for it to change. To that I say that time doesn't necessarily matter. DC can write Harley with depth, consistency, and originality again any time they want to. They just have to choose to do so.Score: 4.5/10 Read Full Review

Apr 27, 2023The second book in the Tini Howard run is better than the first, but not by much. Come for Sweeney Boo's art; stay for Sweeney Boo's art. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Gabe Hernandez
Apr 25, 2023Harley Quinn #29 is a mess. Characters (Zatanna, Batman) written out of character, plot developments that come out of nowhere and make no sense, an increasing "bimbo glorification" vibe that feels like a bad transplant from Marvel, and a higher cover price justified with a backup story that's pure nonsense.
