Mason and Madame Macabre have been rescued and Harley Sinn temporarily neutralized, but, as usual with a Harley Quinn comic, that doesn't mean our happy heroine is going to chill through the remainder of the pages of her own book. On the contrary, brace yourselves, because things are always craziest right at that moment when you realize that dinner with a talking goat may be the least weirdest and surprising thing! As usual, stay for the hijinx in the Paul Dini-infused villain's story as well: two treats in one! So, as you can tell this issue isnt action-packed. But, it definitely is setting up some awesome stories. The water is getting murky for Spoonsdale. And, Soon Ivy and Red Tool will be helping out Harley. Lets not forget that some conflict could come up between The Joker and Harley in Harley loves Joker. A very wordy issue, the story jumps so much from Harley Sinn to the Mayor to Poison Ivy it can be a little overwhelming to read. A lot of the book seemed to consist of Harley Quinn and Goat Boy talking about the diversity of people while riding the subway, which lead to a less action-oriented issue than I had hoped. Sometimes Jim Werner of Weird Science DC Comics Dot Com says an issue is "all set-up," and this one really fits the bill. There are four incomplete stories here, all in keeping with long-standing continuity but still ends up being unsatisfying to veteran readers.
