Yes this issue gave us a definitive end to this story, but I do appreciate that Humphries has left the door open for Volthoom to return in some fashion. This is superhero comics after, where the battle is truly never ending. While I wasn't a big fan with of certain aspects of this arc, I do admit that it was still a ridiculous fun romp and it made Jessica a stronger character going forward. Thankfully the art was more consistent than previous arcs making the reading experience a lot easier to swallow. Read Full Review

Sam Humphries isn't done with this book yet, as his next issue is his last. If this issue was his last, however, I would be immensely pleased with the way it ended. This issue, however, was a lot of fun to read and looks gorgeous to boot. Read Full Review

Perhaps the entire story is best enjoyed in a single sitting. It's hard to say, six issues after it began. But this issue is a very satisfying conclusion. My only regret is that perhaps with some judicious editing, the story could have been told in fewer pages, for a tighter narrative. Read Full Review

While this story concludes with this issue and there are some fun moments........ overall, there was just things happening in this issue to get to the conclusion whether they made sense or not and by the end I just had a lot of questions about how the hell half the things in this book could actually go down.  The art was great though and I look forward to what comes next, but this ending seemed really forced, which is a shame for all the filler we've had leading up to and throughout this arc. In the end Green Lanterns #31 seems like a rushed finale that glosses over the impact of the ramifications of the story's narrative in order to deliver a feel good ending for the book's protagonists. The story of the first seven Green Lanterns seems lackluster in hindsight, failing to cash in on the potential Sam Humphries had to add new layers to the Green Lantern mythology and instead going for the cheap way out by essentially killing them off before they could have any meaningful contribution. Nonsensical writing decisions and a forced conclusion left this final chapter a real disappointment. Five out of ten lanterns. Read Full Review

A decent ending to the "Out of Time" story arc. I know some reviewers didn't like the ending, but I am ok with it. Nothing special, but not bad either. Overall, a mediocre issue.

Kind of a hack job of an ending. All this buildup and a rushed happy ending that ends with going home for pancakes makes light of the whole situation of the whole Green Lanterns Corps history I do declare...

Totally rushed and wasted at the end here. Nice build up for many great issues that's JUST POOF. "Insert happy ending here" Humphries dissapoints a bit. Too bad because Humphries was having a nice run that sucked me back into the Green lanterns world after being gone for years.

Not a bad ending, a bit rushed. Can't say that the original seven lanterns did much for, this was a forgettable arc in general.
