This may be my favorite Green Arrow run. One of my favorite aspects of DC comics is the sense of family. The legacy of the characters. Batman with his Robins, Superman and Supergirl, Superboy, Steel, etc. Wonder Woman and her three Wonder Girls, the Lanterns together. Green Arrow has always had a great supporting cast and this run really brought this family to the forefront. I’ve loved seeing Roy take some spotlight, some great Dinah/Ollie moments and bringing in Liam, Red Canary and Arrowette to the Arrow Fam. I hope we see them all again and together soon.

What a beautiful run from Joshua Williamson. People may think he's basic, but he's always reliable and can put out entertaining stories. This is personally my definitive Green Arrow run (right up there with Jeff Lemire and Ben Percy). I think anyone should read this run when they have time. It was very heartfelt that was personal and showed how close Oliver Queen is to his family. This is right up there with Williamson's Flash and Batman/superman run.

I was impressed on how definitive of an ending this really felt to the entire Green Arrow run by Williamson. If issue 350 was an excellent transition issue, this was an excellent end cap. I mean it was a time skip forward (I am assuming many years given all these grand kids), and it was a simple re-telling of the case where he always fell short. Sure it resolved in a cheesy way (power of family! in a sense), but it felt like an ending. Not only to Williamson's run, but in a way to Green Arrow (if you wanted to put a cap on the character in the future this wouldnt be a bad way). All and all quite an enjoyable run.

A nice, fairly interesting one-shot story for Williamson's last of this Green Arrow run. I will say that I don't think I needed this, considering that I don't really think it added anything beyond what Williamson wrote in Green Arrow #17. However, I liked it a nice amount until the end. The ending wasn't bad or anything, but I just thought it would have been nice to, at least, have some sort of "final confrontation" with the people behind Firestarter. In any case, this was solid for what it was and I enjoyed Williamson's run on Green Arrow overall.
