Mar 07, 2018Incoming writers Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly have huge shoes to fill in making Green Arrow's world feel just as important as the other A-List DC heroes. The important thing is that Green Arrow definitely feels like a premium title again. Now it's just a matter of keeping him there. Read Full Review

Mar 07, 2018Ferreyras art has always is spectacular for the eyes, but it seemss he had saved his best for last, because his art in this issue is just phenomenal, especially some of the bigger panels highlighting Oliver with the Justice League. This issue does not disappoint in the least bit, its a satisfying conclusion to Percys story he started back with Green Arrow Rebirth #1 while also setting up many exciting plot points to be used in the future, Green Arrow is in a better place than hes been in since before the New 52. Mar 07, 2018Green Arrow #38 is the end of an era and I am sorry to see this creative team's run end. Still, as Ollie notes in the ending coda of the issue, "As much as some things have changed, others never will." I hope that one of the things that doesn't change is the level of quality and effort put into this series by its future writers and artists. Read Full Review

Mar 08, 2018This is a great finale. There's an optimism to it that I really love. Team Arrow, almost literally, went through hell and came out of the other side more determined that ever to help people. Maybe that's cheesy but it's the version of DC that appeals to me. Read Full Review

Mar 07, 2018The team on GREEN ARROW shows off just how incredible they are with their final issue together. It's truly the culmination of everything they've done with the character so far. Ben Percy brings symmetry into the story by addressing things from GREEN ARROW: REBIRTH #1. Juan Ferreyra's work is as immaculate as it always is. Deron Bennet's lettering lets us almost hear the issue. It's the perfect way to say goodbye, we just wish they didn't have to. Read Full Review

Mar 09, 2018Green Arrow is without a doubt a character who is trying to make the world a better place. He is not perfect, and you may consider him damaged, but his heart is in the right place. This series has done a good job of selling him as a social justice warrior. He simply tries to fix the sins of his family's past.I'm looking forward to where this series will take us in the coming months, but I do want to pause and say thank you to Benjamin Percy and Juan Ferreyra for the amazing work they've done over the last couple of years to add their fingerprints to the rich history of this character. Thank you both. Read Full Review

Mar 07, 2018While I haven't been a fan of this run, I enjoyed this issue. The art is stunning and I couldn't help but feel some emotion during the last few pages. This just might be the best issue of the series, so kudos to Percy and Ferreyra for ending on a really high note. This truly feels like a culmination of the entire run and it's satisfying on that level. It's cheesy and fun, check it out. Read Full Review

Mar 07, 2018Part of me wants to yell that this was a rushed ending that didn't pay off enough for all the setup we've gotten since Rebirth started, but I'll muzzle that part a bit. Yes, this finale felt rushed, but Ben Percy also used it as a way to show how much he loves Green Arrow and it rubbed off on me a bit as well. Because of that, and the awesome art by Juan Ferreyra, this is an odd finale that can be read by anyone with even a little liking for the character. Sure, those who've been here from the start will get more out of it, but maybe picking it up will make you want to go back a dive in from the beginning. I'll never say that's a bad thing! Mar 08, 2018Green Arrow #38 closes out both the trial of Oliver Queen and, seemingly, the Ninth Circle arc that has been carried since the beginning of this series. As such it's an interesting installment and one worthy of recommendation. It's not brilliant, but it's worth a read. Check it out. Read Full Review
