Williamson isnt rushing this arc through and this issues focus on gathering armies was an exciting tease of whats in store in subsequent issues. The Flash might not be the same after Williamson leaves but hes making sure to end with an explosive finale. Read Full Review

Joshua Williamson's time on the book is winding down, and while a Reverse-Flash Family story sounds cool, there is not much to this start. It's a by-the-numbers gathering of Eobard's team while Barry mopes around Central City. Christian Duce's art is excellent, but I will wait to see how this story develops before recommending it to anyone. Read Full Review

As opening chapters of stories go, this one could have been stronger, but there is a lot of potential, considering the sheer magnitude of the concept of the Flash taking on this many of his biggest threats all at once. Couple that with the surprise ending to this issue, and the readers could be in for a major treat. Cross your fingers and hope against hope that Williamson has something fun up his sleeve. By-the-numbers Flash storytelling. Going back to monthly and bringing a new writer in could give this book the shot in the arm it so sorely needs.

I need to stop buying this book. DC needs to end the double shipping because it's seriously affecting the quality of the stories being put out. The strategy worked perfectly during Rebirth because they were coordinated really well what with the event void, and the creators were able to follow their blueprint/run plans with little opposing editorial interference. And why the fuck is it called the Legion of Zoom if half of them aren't speedsters, just time displaced rogues? I want to see Savitar + Inertia + Rival so they can face off against Chain Lightning flash family from Pre-N52! And btw, the Tornado Twins are definitely Thawne's kids and not Barry's.

August Heart. Cop. Friend. Hero. Killed a bunch of people but he seemed real sorry for it so lol I guess that’s fine. The rest of this issue was boring but whatever. I don’t love the idea of the Rogues being dragged into this again, but okay.
