While we continue to get a lot of fighting in this issue, it's revitalized by adding the new dynamic of having the people of Metropolis involved and somehow this small feature makes all the difference in making this a more enjoyable issue than we've had recently.  The art looks great and we get an awesome cliffhanger that really gets you excited for what's to come. This issue was pretty good if you've been reading the last few books. I didn't like the character of the Ultra-Humanite at all, but Abnett definitely changed my mind with this issue. Hopefully we'll see more of the Ultra-Humanite because I've become a fan! Read Full Review

A fight comic from beginning to end that's easily skippable. If you've been reading along there are a few subtle moments, and a cliffhanger to die for, but overall the issue is an average superhero fight book. Read Full Review

This issue was okay but honestly, I'm just waiting for it to end so we can get a proper Rebirth of the Earth 2 heroes and the classic JSA. Earth 2: Society is one of the last vestiges of New 52 and it's time is coming to a close. While Earth 2 was an amazing series when it first launched as a New 52 series, it's really taken a beating after the Convergence fiasco and I just want to see it laid out to pasture. Of course, the characters are salvageable, Val-Zod, Powergirl, etc. but they can't exist on their own anymore without some connection to the Rebirth universe...
