Cyborg #13

Cyborg #13 is one of the better issues as of late. Great character development, plot development, we got to see a familiar face spring into action again, and once again they are taking advantage of the things you can do in this book that haven't been seen before. Read Full Review

Cyborg 13 is a great pick this week simply because it's always on a great track of action and story balance. For a guy who's struggling to figure out if he's still human and still has his soul, I would say that this book has plenty of it. Just watching him interact with the others that he's close too, you can just tell this tin man has plenty of heart. I would be watching the next few issues of Cyborg because I think we are going to learn some interesting new things about him. Perhaps in the future we can see a Cyborg and the Robot Men Rebirth style. Ah an android can dream can't he? Cyborg #13 get four out of five stars. Stay tuned readers! Read Full Review

I see some moments in this issue that could help make Cyborg more likable and approachable. Despite that, it was still just an okay book. It's never good when the side characters have a stronger presence than the main guy. Other than the fact that we may get a sum it up with a long awaited plot line, there wasn't much that stood out to me in this issue. Read Full Review

Cyborg #13 is a great read. If you enjoy the interaction between Exxy and Cyborg, you'll enjoy this issue. We also have plenty of action, a great backstory, and finally the big reveal at the end. It seems that Cyborg may have jumped into something he didn't expect while attempting to infiltrate S.T.A.R. Labs again. It's a shame we have to wait until the next issue to see exactly what's next. We get a backstory in this issue that really feels like an afterthought with how little emotion and imagination is put into it and the rest of the story just feels like the normal nonsense we get out of this series that feels like it cares less about Cyborg than I do currently......... which is a hard thing to do.  All in all, the art in this issue is half decent, but this series needs a new focus, a new writer and possibly a renumbering after all of this is said and done because it's just not good.   Read Full Review

I keep wanting to see Cyborg turn the corner, but this was another in a long string of tough reads for this book. It might be time for a new creative team to give this title a reboot before any chances of a successful Cyborg solo title crashes. Read Full Review

There's a reason why no one is reading Cyborg. It's not that good. Considering how good most Rebirth titles are, the less than average level of this title really shows in comparison. The villains are lame, the supporting cast weak, and with a movie solely about Cyborg due out in a few years, it should be on DC's list of priorities to make this title good.
