Supergirl Comic Box Commentary - Anj
Dec 22, 2025And then, a foregone conclusion given how the Absorbascon absorbs all knowledge. The villains learn our heroes secret identities and then transmit that to their friends. I was tickled by this issue probably more than others. I really thought the minds of the fusions being different, the massive brawl, and the Bronze Age-iness of the Absorbascon all were great. Waid leans into an "only in comics premise and commits completely, letting Dan Mora's iconic fusion designs and Adrin Gutirrez's slick action do the heavy lifting. While the cliffhanger may not land equally for everyone, the ride itself is so energetic, creative, and fun that it hardly matters.
