    The scheduling issues on this book have gotten so extreme that it's hard to remember what happened from issue to issue, which is a shame because there's a pretty solid narrative here that does pay tribute to the iconic movie series. Read Full Review

    Batman 89: Echoes #5 puts all the cards on the table in terms of the major players in this story, as both Scarecrow and Harley have prominent roles and Batman is officially back in action. Its still a downer though that were 5 issues in and we have yet to see Barbara don cape and cowl, even though the cover art teased that shed be Batgirl in this story several issues ago. Hopefully well see Catwoman again next issue too, with more than just a quick cameo. Overall, this was a good addition to this story, but Scarecrow shouldve been in costume more. Read Full Review

    This issue and this series at this point reeks of a contractual obligation needing to be fulfilled by both parties. Maybe the whole thing will read better as a trade, but for now, I struggle to recommend it to even die-hard Keaton fans. Read Full Review
