Sean(X-O Manowar) Chen's art was clean enough for the more positive tone of the comic, but I'll still take Booster's story with all the importance of DC's current events that surrounds it. Hey" it's not often a monthly-themed comic had this much meaning. Read Full Review

The dialogue can be clunky at times, but there's still a strng team dynamic anchoring the story and a moving scene as one of the Otehrs passes their mantle to another character. All of this dovetails with Aquaman's struggle as he again confornts King Atlan and tries to unite his people. Read Full Review

While the Futures End one-shots have been a grab bag, this was one of the more enjoyable issues. Dan Jurgens uses all the characters well and constructs a good enough story. Sean Chen does a nice job on the artwork and leaves everything on the page.Futures End Aquaman and the Othersis one of the better issues to come out of September. Read Full Review

AQUAMAN AND THE OTHERS is mending the bonds from land to sea as they fight for peace. A new adventure for both worlds, we now have to wait and see if Aquaman will go back to his kingdom below or stay his home above. Read Full Review

Aquaman and the Others: Futures End #1 wraps up the two part story with lots of action, a bit of cheesy dialogue and some silliness.  In the end, it's going to be another forgotten story that does nothing for the series or Event in general.  Thankfully, this event is over and we can get back to the regular series. All told, "Aquaman and the Others: Futures End" #1 is an enjoyable read. I wish it were less obvious and problematic, but with only two issues to tell an entire arc, the creative team has done well. Read Full Review

Sean Chen's layouts are good, with an extremely thin pencil style that gives the characters a realistic took. He tries to keep the tension up, but can't save terrible dialogue and plotting of Jurgens that sinks the book. Read Full Review

The Latest Pull - Alex Higgins

From stilted expository dialogue, to randomly Liefeldian feet, and all the way to the lukewarm conclusion, this book was a dud. In the end, everything comes off feeling rushed. Hopefully, being a one-shot, this won't reflect too poorly on the main continuity going forward. Better luck next time guys. Read Full Review
