Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles
May 16, 2018The only downside is the book tends to come out on a slower release schedule as a result. For this payoff, it's worth it even if it leads to a longer wait than I'd like for one of my favorite DC titles. Read Full Review

Bleeding Cool - Joshua Davison
May 18, 2018Aquaman #36 brings us ever-nearer to the grand finale of Corum Raths reign over Atlantis, and this issue provides plenty of impressive fight scenes, a few solid character moments, and brilliant artwork. This one earns another recommendation. Give it a read. Read Full Review

May 16, 2018Still, this has been a whole lot better than it's been. If the payoff is great, then this issue will have been worth it. Let's hope it turns out that way. Read Full Review

May 17, 2018AQUAMAN #36 is a great entertainment. It doesn't hold much water as far as plot goes, but the art and fun character moments make up for this! Read Full Review

DC Comics News - Cameron Tevis
May 19, 2018A good, action-packed issue that sees the return of one of the artists that helped propel this storyline and title. It teases the climactic final battle between Aquaman and Corum Rath but if they wait to much longer in getting there, the teasing will become monotonous and audiences may lose interest. Fortunately, Aquaman and Rath come face-to-face in this issue. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Christopher Landers
May 19, 2018Despite this issue being one more chapter in an overly-long story arc, the pacing is picking up nicely, and Rath has finally become a serious threat, so its definitely enjoyable. If youre at all interested in the fate of Aquaman now that he has agreed to hand the throne over to Mera, or you just like great art, you should definitely be picking up this series. There is plenty of good story ahead. Read Full Review

Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield
May 17, 2018The issue has some great visuals courtesy of artist Federici, who comes off like a more gritty Stepan Sejic, but the story is lacking in momentum. When the battle with Rath comes to a close, it might be time for a new direction. Read Full Review

ComicBook.com - Matthew Mueller
May 16, 2018At times we wish the story had more momentum going into its finale, but what is here is quite good, and next issue can't get here soon enough. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Reggie Hemingway
May 16, 2018This title jogs in place for yet another issue, as the Most Sustained and Boring Revolution continues. By this point, I'd expect anyone displeased with Atlantis would have left by now. I know I would have left this comic, were I not reviewing it. Continued reading of this series is an exercise in being ripped-off. Read Full Review
