    It is the ending which actually gives this some hope. Although this is told in a somewhat confusing manner at times between the “Then” and “Now” it still manages to give a glimpse of what Cullen Bunn might be capable of here. After it should not be expected that he write exactly like Johns, and there are glimpses of him doing right by this series, even if his introduction to it is a lot of what has been seen before. For the moment, it is worth a chance and worth a look, although it could still really go either way. Read Full Review

    Aquaman didn't really need a status quo shake-up, but the series got one anyway thanks to DC You. The book's new direction is unfolding well enough under Cullen Bunn's hand, with a renewed emphasis on Arthur as a loner and the divide between he and Mera. Read Full Review

    Aquaman #43 deliveredexcellent straight up action/adventure super hero fun. This title has quickly become one of my favorite DC comics currently on the market. Bunn is delivering a classic super hero tale that should appeal to a wide range of readers. This is definitely a title that is worth giving a try. Read Full Review

    I have not liked this story at all, so believe me when I tell you that this is the best that we've gotten so far from the writing and the art.  There are still problems throughout the overall story that I hope get resolved and the art is something that I'll never be able to get behind, but both aspects to this issue improve from what we've been given so far from this creative team.   Read Full Review
