Sep 22, 2016If you're not already readingWeird Detective, you certainly should be. This isn't the type of book that should be allowed to fly under the radar. That's just doing it a major disservice. I'm not sure what anyone could want out of a comic that this book doesn't have. Read Full Review

Sep 24, 2016The artwork is stunning and strange, and required a lot more character to work than we've seen in the first three issues - and it allows for some of the best art we've seen from Guiu Vilanova. The backgrounds in particular panels are ridiculously amazing and capture the moment of the story incredibly well. The colours are what sets this apart from other comics though, it's a weird pallete that sets a peculiar tone: something that fits the story and characters like a glove. Read Full Review

Oct 30, 2016I will admit the large transformation of the Juice Box Killer is superb and horrifying, artist Guiu Vilanova really kills that part of the comic. It helps bolster the already weird atmosphere this series had to begin with. There is a sinister side to all that as well and Vilanova manages to create more pressure between the Greene and Fayza in interesting ways through the art. Read Full Review

Sep 23, 2016I would buy each issue just for the few panels showcasing Greenes sarcastic pet cat who is definitely a small but lovablestandout character for me. In saying that, this fourth instalment of the mini-series is exciting to read as you discover more about who Greene is and why he is trying to save his people as a human detective! Its dark, its weird, its great! Read Full Review

Great writing and artwork yet again. Cosmic horror mixed with a buddy-cop story and a sarcastic cat. What more could you want?..
