If you're like me, well, you've got a "Bloodhound" collected edition to tide you over until then.   This issue surprised me. I wasn't a fan of the art but I love how amidst the murderer and super humans there is a family full of characters that I'm interested in learning more about. The story itself is simple but interesting. It doesn't take a lot of thought to enjoy and I like that sometimes. If you're interested in the storyline, check it out. Except for a lot of the artwork, you won't be disappointed. Read Full Review

  It's actually kind of a shame that Bloodhound doesn't follow a more fresh or original concept. There are so many things about Bloodhound that are great, but it's difficult to give Bloodhound the credit it arguably deserves because it doesn't really do anything that hasn't been done before. The characters and relationships are good, and the art is fantastic, but it doesn't demand your attention the way something new and exciting does. Given time to come into its own and grow into a unique identity, Bloodhound could be great, but it's difficult to tell based off of only the first issue if the comic can really go the distance. Bloodhound is like a great wrestler with a horrible gimmick: there's plenty of great material that can be molded into greatness, but it's going to need time and investment to turn into something great.   Comic Bastards - Samantha Roehrig

  This totally means more work for Clev and Saffron. And I'll be damned if this Bradley guy doesn't have something to do with the first superhuman we met. I was impressed with this comic bringing in some familiar plot lines but adding some key elements to freshen it up. I liked it and will have to come back to finish the mini-series. Plus, I have said this before, but mini-series are such a quick snap that is hard to just stop reading one even if it sucks. And since this one caught my eye, I want to see how Clev turns out and learn more about his troubles. Read Full Review
