Parrott and Mortarino deliver another fun entry in the Power Rangers series. It expands the world in exciting, if confusing ways. The "aliens in a bar" trope makes for a fun issue full of conflict and tense interactions, with Trini and Drakkon having some long-overdue conversation and an ending that promises something different next time around. Read Full Review

Some characters from Power Rangers in Space pop up as the Omega Rangers search for answers and a way to stop their powerful new villain. This is sure to be a delight for fans of that particular run of the show, however even if it's new to you, there's plenty to enjoy in this chapter. Read Full Review

Tactics that garner the attention of a fan favorite character Astronema as well as Space Patrol Delta. Meanwhile, Lord Drakkon and Trini team up to face off against one of the greatest Power Rangers villains ever, Ecliptor! This was an all around fun issue. Jason and Zack engaging in questionable tactic s even though they are Power Rangers is something I’ve never seen before in Power Rangers. With the way they disobeyed Zordon and took Lord Drakkon, it interesting seeing what they will do to get the job done. They are fugitives in Zordon’s eyes and that was a great way to introduce S.P.D in the Boom universe. This issue was filled will great nostalgic surprises. However, my only issue is that it’s not clear that the continuity lines up for all of the things Parrott is doing. It’s likely that this will be something that will be addressed down the road, but as for now, its a little confusing on how all this ties in together. With that being said, this was a great fun read and the artwork continues to be spot on! As the world of Power Rangers expands, so do the possibilities! This issue is heavy in references to future series including Space and SPD. It is interesting to see the exploits of the 3 lost rangers after they left the team. I mean here they are up against a seemingly unstoppable enemy and the only way to beat them will be alongside the deadliest enemy they have. Not to mention they're fugitives. This has all the intrigue I wished for 25 years ago instead of the cheesiness that was season 3. It's also an interesting revelation that the Emperyals are connected to their own origins. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in their next meeting with them. In the mean time it's also a clever idea to treat more die hard fans to seeing things from future titles. Something I'd like to see one of the teams meet the original team from Himitsu Sentai Gorenger (The original Japanese series that started it all). I just think that would be cool to finally see the original '70s Rangers in America at last. The end of this issue is also intriguing. Are they going to have to ally with another enemy? Looks like more excitement ahead. more
