The blood-drenched pro wrestling retelling of Macbeth continues. Chuck Frenzy has it now. The fame, the jet-setting lifestyle, the title belt, all as the Bayou Sisters promised, and he played most foully for it. The Abominable Grudd, Chuck's best friend and wrestling rival, was also promised a bountiful future, but is content not to meddle with fate, to let things fall as they may. Hands down, this creative team are my number one, top of the pile, best creators in the industry at the moment; writer, artist, colourer, letterer, these four are consistently at the top of any best of list Ive written, and whats more, they continue to get better with every new project. All I can say is Holy Shit what a difference a month makes to a character! The downfall and so-called tragedy of Chuck are laid bare in this issue for what it always was, greedy and treacherous. The incredible way Less and Cormack balance on the ropes between the plot and wrestling show why everybody needs to read this title. Read Full Review

This series has no business being as good as it is, but here we are. Retelling Macbeth through the filter of throw back, territorial wrestling? Sounds crazy right? Its brilliant, the writing and pace are perfect. The art bursts off the page. There is a sense of Dred lurking around each page turn. I never thought id fall in love with wrestling again, let alone in the pages of a comic book. Do yourself a favor and take a chance on this series.

This is what comics is all about. A shining and bloody example of the medium delivering what it's truly capable of. A rare "10" from me. I need to write reviews for issues #1 and #2, but this rating is for the series so far. Shame it's limited to five issues. John Lees' writing is exceptional and it's matched by Alex Cormack's brilliant art. A HUGE Recommend!
