As the girls look to play their first gig outside Riverdale, they run into some unexpected complications. Can they bust up a crime ring, help the criminals see the error of their ways, and jump-start the band's music career, all through the power of rock, friendship, and, Melody assures us, entirely legitimate comic book science? You'll have to read to find out!

As far as what I didn't like; there are a lot of quick, cute conversations between the girl and they can be missed if you scan too much when you read the issue. Take your time or you'll miss them. It's actually pretty hard for me to find anything wrong here. Josie and the Pussycats #2 is a cute, attention-grabbing, smart adventure that really gives presents strong, positive female role models for all. Read Full Review

While New Riverdale has enjoyed the name recognition of Archie and Jughead, Josie and the Pussycats #2 proves that Josie, Valerie, and Melody are poised to be your new favorite Riverdale teens. Read Full Review

The panels layouts are impressive and the artwork is neat. The colours bounce off of each page and the characters manage to look cool at all times. It's a simple review, for a relatively simple comic. It's definitely a fun one. Read Full Review

    Comicosity - Allen Thomas

    Nov 03, 2016

Josie and the Pussycats #2 succeeds at comedic and witty storytelling. This comic is a raucous dive into the journey to fame and fortune filled to the brim with characters who are the very definition of lively and dynamic. Overall I love how the series is done, but I also dont want it to get too carried away in the future, as it could teeter the line between amazing and too much for many readers. Despite these factors, this issue is engaging, funny, and entertaining. Josie and the Pussycats doesnt take itself too seriously, which allows the creative team to let loose. I cant help but want to join the band on their trek to fame, and I like that kind of happiness in a comic. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jeff Lake

Josie and The Pussycats' debut was a somewhat sporadic affair, the pinball narrative making it tough to settle on the book's overall tone. It's only clear after reading issue #2 that the always-forward ebullience of the debut actually IS the tone, and it's that knowledge that makes this read so entertaining. Read Full Review

'Josie and the Pussycats' continues to evolve in issue two and succeeds at being a raucous joyride. Their road to stardom has been a little bumpy so far but there's nothing the Pussycats can't overcome. With endless charm, whimsical humor, and fun visuals, 'Josie and the Pussycats' is bound to put a smile on your face. Read Full Review

Archie Comics delivers another fun issue featuring the musical trio, and I love the art by Audrey Mok. Here's hoping the Pussycats stay on the road a long, long time. As with the first issue, Josie and the Pussycats #2 also includes a bonus classic Josie and the Pussycats story as well. Worth a look. Read Full Review

A feeble story with very average artwork. The obligatory feminist angle is constantly reminding us that the characters are "strong independent women" with men not needed. Therefore I won't be continuing with this title, and will leave it in the hands of "strong, independent woman" and the diversity freaks.
