The dialogue in TINSEL TOWN #1 does a lot of work both for plot and characterization. The illustrations and coloring go to add on to the characterization of the comic. TINSEL TOWN #1 is a must read! Read Full Review

Overall, I think this is a very solid start to the story. It is handled well and creates an interesting premise. Police officers and amateur officers in shady areas are nothing new, but this story adds a new dimension that I've yet to see when it comes to the setting. Read Full Review

Tinseltown might not be as polished or slick as its namesake, but there's a solid story here that bears watching. Read Full Review

Glad I gave this book a shot because I really enjoyed it, probably one of my favourite alterna titles to come out so far, it's certainly my pick for the week of April 4th

A great cover and price. I like the newsprint paper and wish more publishers would use it. The art was quite good but the story was rather a let down, being slow and plodding.

So we are welcomed by a note of Lucarelli about his mother. I find that very touching. Then we have the story of Abigail. Her born, the lost of her dad (A officer) and how she tried to join the cops. And then the story goes a little weird with the cast for a role of police woman in the studio. I also have a hard time with how many men behave around her. It's a shy start close to a transitional issue. But do I want to follow it more than this one ? Did this one give me what the need to come back for another shot ? And their is also the two month delay for each issue. Cover - Nice one, I like Abigail on this one. But their is not much of what I read inside. 1/2 Story - Nice but I find it very slow. Too slow. 2/3 Arts - The art as some i more
