The Miranda Brothers have worked really hard throughout this five piece mini (which, turns out, isn't actually a mini) to rip our hearts out repeatedly. There's a twist, and another twist, and by the time this thing blows off, it's a completely different story, in a different genre. It's brilliant, in its way. This issue puts us through some solidly tense moments as the end of the world inches closer but the gaps that are introduced really have me hopeful that future works will explore it more so that it can be given the weight it needs considering the buildup here. Definitely going to be an interesting ride. Read Full Review

Lighting storms rain down upon the Earth as giant insect-like creatures begin ravaging the population. Separated from her brother, Tala looks on in terror as Hototo and the other chosen are elevated high into the air. Their bracelets activate, emitting an almost blinding light, while many of the children are terribly mutated, others are engulfed in a strange cocoon. Suddenly, Hototo and others emerge as adults and lay waste to their attackers, more
