The second part of the Spencer & Locke series is off to a great start. With solid writing and a great art style, it's a must-read. It's a smart, intense, suspenseful story full of mystery and action. If you haven't read any of the series yet, go pick up the first collection, then dive into part 2. It's excellent, and I promise you won't regret it. Read Full Review

Sirens of Sequentials - Jennifer DeRoss

This first issue of the second volume shows no delays in getting all of the pieces of the story working together. And, always leaving the reader wanting more, the last page opens things up in a big way. The issue asks if Spencer and Locke can survive Roach Riley, and the answer to that seems like it could be complicated in a good way. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Andrew Huard

Spencer and Locke 2 will quickly prove that the creative team has created something special. Giving classic characters a new twist is not a new idea, but giving them such depth, with trauma and how they cope with it, is an issue that resonates with many. Although they do provide a recap of the events of the first four issues, readers should check them out anyway as they are a terrific story arc in themselves. Spencer and Locke 2 will be a title that readers should keep their eyes out for. Read Full Review
