A flat and uninteresting take on a well loved story that fails to add anything new that leads readers to ask what market it is meant to appeal to.

Adventure Time #41 captures the energetic joy that has maintained the TV show's success all these years while managing to add more to the lore

While the individual stories in Bob's Burgers #7 are by no means awful when collected together none of them stand out to make this issue particularly memorable

Cluster #7 is yet another fantastic instalment of this series which has set up nicely for the final issue!

Cluster #8 ends this wonderful series on a very high note and with a neat ending that still has us begging for more!

Cognetic #1 is a strong opening comic for this three part series which gives us another look at the end of the world

Cognetic #2 delivers a fast paced -almost rushed- installment of this engaging story, the writing and illustrations are great but you are left feeling you could do with a couple more pages.

Curb Stomp #1 is a well crafted story that sets up this miniseries with fast pace, easy dialogue, and an art style that complements the overall tone well.

Curb Stomp #2 continues to weave recognisable plot beats together to reasonable effect, while the art might not be to everyone's taste the colouring kicks it up a notch

Curb Stomp #3 marks a clear turning point for this miniseries, sadly with its multiple dangling plots and decreasing quality of art it is not for the better.

A fun story crammed full of puns and jokes that is for the most part complemented well with the art; as long as the characters drawn aren't young females. Avoid if you are not a fan of puns.

Fiction Squad #4 feels like a slight misstep in the overall series as the constant barrage of jokes and puns threaten to overwhelm the actual story

Hexed #5 continues the intriguing tale of Lucifer & co as they deal with the fallout of the first arc. The story and art are on point but the dialogue isn't always to the same high caliber.

Klaus #1 in a very enjoyable introductory issue to what looks to be a great miniseries

Klaus #2 is another fantastic installment of this series!

Memetic continues with its intriguing concept and fantastic art with only rather lacklustre main characters letting it down.

Memetic #3 provides a strong end to this miniseries that -while bleak- is a fitting finale to this dark tale, all of which is aided hugely by great artwork.

Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard is a fun collection of stories that have a lot to say in a short space.

Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard #2 is a fantastic entry into the pantheon of the Mouse Guard series which with amazing art and great storytelling

Archaia's Legends of the Guard #3 is yet another fantastic collection of short stories further enriching Peterson's world!

Legends of the Guard #4 brings us to the end of this volume of the anthology series with three more great short stories that flesh out the already exhilarating Mouse Guard universe

A rather meagre output with little to entice new players of Munchkin while not managing to offer existing fans.

Munchkin #7 manages to be both unfunny and unremarkable, this should reflect much more on the core concept of the original game. Sadly it seems that Munchkin is using comics as a quick cash grab than as a medium to create backstory to a rather one dimensional boardgame

Over the Garden Wall #2 feels like it is driven by an underbaked idea that struggles to drive the story. With a tone that is unlike the source material this comic never really delivers.

Over the Garden Wall #4 manages what the previous issues have not, it is a genuinely interesting story that adds to the lore

Plunder #2 is an interesting story with great art and colouring that is let down by its writing.

Plunder #3 unravels much of the close, tight-knit tension that the previous issues had cultivated; a problem compounded by occasionally confusing art.

Plunder #4 feels like a rather lacklustre end to this miniseries as it gets bogged down by various superfluous plot points.

Snow Blind #1 is a thrilling ride from the first page to the last, a great opening issue that leaves you longing for more

A fantastic insight into the creative process wonderfully edited to hold the reader's attention throughout!

The Fiction #1 introduces us to a wonderful, if slightly familiar concept with brilliant art and engaging twists. It is a joyous ode to childhood reading that captures the imagination.

The Fiction #3 is a great read for those interested literary criticism as well as for readers of a good adventure story!

The Fiction #4 is a great conclusion to this engaging and enjoyable work of metafiction which is helped by some amazing art.
