As Ive stated before there is some gore in this series that for someone with a weak stomach like me can have a difficult time reading. Luckily this issue was a little easier on the gore. Gruesome scenes aside, I really am enjoying this story. In every issue we get a little more questions answer and more questions raised. The silent panels really drive this story, highlighting how well this creative team works together.

Another quirky, yet fun issue that helps this series become more enjoyable.

I love the Avengers team and thats what has me picking up these issues. But the plot as a whole doesnt bring anything new to the table. Its been a struggle to continue reading this series.

Even with some of the art and lettering lacking, Gerry Duggans writing really compensates those flaws.

This issue has its ups and downs as does the series itself. The issue brought a solid ending to the series at most. I think its fascinating how this series is based off of historical stories, but even with an adventurous plot, this issue had parts that felt generic. It felt like Ive read similar stories before.

This was a fun, adventure packed read for people who enjoyed Horizon Zero Dawn and want more to the story. It provided more insight on side characters that added more interesting aspects to this world.

This story can definitely be labeled as a noir, despite how colorful and beautiful every page looks. Coming from someone who generally isnt super into mysteries, this book delivers a fascinating story that is hard to put down from page to page. Between the writing and the art, the tone of this story delivers and everything feels emotionally real, proving Tom King and Greg Smallwood are the perfect team for this series.

With the ending seeming to be obvious, it raises the question if the final issue will even be worth it.

This is not a series to sleep on. Every page and every panel was exciting. This issue brings a fresh new sci-fi tale to the table. I was astonished by this first issue, and Im excited to see what more is to come.

A really well planned issue that really brings out old and new Star Wars themes in exciting ways.

So much has already happened in just three issues and theres only a couple more left to go. Its sad to know this is only a mini series, because I really hope to see Ty and Drewen again in other High Republic stories. The pacing in this story is perfect. So much happens without anything feeling rushed. This issue, and series as a whole, makes me hope for more comics written and drawn by Cavan and Rachel Scott together.

Overall this issue was fun but missed some opportunities to really develop on Qort. I also feel that the pacing felt rushed and the story itself didnt have much development. So far this has been a good series but this may have been its weakest issue.

"Department of Truth" #6 gave a fun side story that had a change in pace and still continues to deliver more questions at the end of each issue.

This first issue brings a fun story and a new twist to time-travel that can appeal to a wide variety of comic fans.

Timeless #1 was a great one shot for any fan of Marvel comics. Theres a lot of surprises and gives a really cool glimpse into the Marvel Universe this year. Jed Mackay writes a fantastic story with gorgeous art by Kev Walker that is a perfect read to end the year and to open into the new year!

Just not a solid issue. There is to be a lot missing and nothing exciting.

Again, I had mixed feelings of this comic and I think your view depends on how you feel about 90s X-Men. However, with everything going on with the current X-Men content, its a nostalgic palette cleanser that is refreshing and can be fun to read. Its also been a while since Ive read a comic with so much action from page to page, that was a blast to read.
