Miles Morales: Spider-Man #3 |
Oct 21, 2026

While it is a fun read, Revenant doesn’t come off as the archenemy for Miles that this series is trying really hard to sell. It looks great, though, and I want to see him get with Valentina. He definitely needs someone like her by his side.

The Karman Blade #2 |

The Karman Blade #2 is another fantasy epic we’ve seen time and time again. But the narrative, with its twists, turns, and Shakesperean prose, and some of the most gorgeous artwork and colors currently going, this is one that has set itself apart from the rest.

A quick, entertaining read with flashes of heart-stopping horror, and a strong protagonist that I wish was explored more. Condon and Ehrich picked the right artist for this story, and I hope to see more of this in the future. The door is wide open.

Hammerfist #2 is how you ratchet up the ridiculousness set by its first issue without sacrificing quality character and story work. There’s so much more carnage to be had, and I do not doubt that this team will deliver.

Batman of Two Worlds #1 |
Sep 16, 2026

|
Batman: Of Two Worlds is a flex for this entire creative team. Matt Fraction and Scott Snyder have crafted stories starring two Bat Boys who couldn’t be more different in style and tone. But their ethos, their indomitable will, and all-around badassery are intact, and we are much better off with both of them in our lives.

ThunderCats: Cheetara: Vol. 2 #1 |
Sep 09, 2026

ThunderCats: Cheetara #1 is a solid first issue. It’s an easily accessible entry point for new readers, and a great introduction for a strong female character done with love and care. The art is crisp and expressive and I expect more work out of Andrea Arcari in the future.
