Aliens: Dead Orbit #4 is a satisfying conclusion to a mini-series with terrifying art and unique storytelling. It easily stands with other entries in the franchise.

Batman and the Signal #1 is a unique breath of fresh air to Gotham and the Bat-Family, starring a character that easily deserves more time in the spotlight.

Betty & Veronica Vixens #2 is an enjoyable chapter of Riverdale's new gang, giving development to characters that shine in the spotlight.

Betty & Veronica: Vixens #3 is best for those looking for a fun new look at Riverdale's female characters. While it does have some problems with flow compared to the previous issues, it's still an engaging chapter in a charming part of the Archie Comics line.

While Days of Hate #1 does suffer a little in its dialogue and character motivations, the fantastic art and familiar setting result in a comic that should be watched out for when it kicks into high gear.

While Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles #1 has some insightful moments, it's more concerned with historical references and set-up rather than its main character.

Imaginary Fiends #2 gives us more of its world, with some nice character development thrown in.

Imaginary Fiends continues to be a good example of how character can drive a book as much as its set pieces.

Judas #1 is the beginning of a fascinating look at the Biblical character that's well-worth taking a leap of faith for.

Judas #2 continues being a compelling book, telling the perspectives of Christianity's greatest sinners. If you haven't gotten on board, you're missing out.

Judas #3 is another home run on all levels. Whether it's the deeper story of redemption or the relevant use of many players in Christianity, there's something for everyone within these pages.

Jughead The Hunger #2 does maintain its frightening tone, but begins to spread its plot a little thin.

The new Kick-Ass is an evolution in terms of character, tone, and intent. Patience to an extent is a greater fulfillment on the promise of the series than Dave ever was, a protagonist with heart and a fierceness that's easy to root for.

Marvel Two-in-One #1 is a personal and wholehearted return for half of the Fantastic Four, with everything that entails.

Marvel Two-In-Oneis still full of heart and promise. As it looks like the series will go a little wilder for its next chapter, it's safe to say that the good-natured core will remain intact. And with it, some great comics storytelling.

Mother Panic/Batman Special decides to go all in on the weirdness of the line, complete with goofy and complex ideas while also serving as a welcome expansion to the main series's story and themes. While definitely not for everyone, Mother Panic/Batman Special is another wild exercise for Young Animal.

Mister Miracle #5 shows us why Scott Free and Big Barda are meant to be together as well as why we're meant to read this comic.

Paradiso #1 might have a lot of secrets, but between the gorgeous art and intriguing set-up, there's enough to be excited about.

Paradiso #2 gives up more of the mystery to better define its world, with an interesting cast that will vie for your attention.

Paradiso #3 continues to top itself in both artistic quality and character investment. The unveiling of information on the world gets better as the series goes on, giving readers enough to think about for the next installment while also providing enough to not feel detached.

Prism Stalker #1 has exactly the type of storytelling that should be applauded in independent comics. Powerful themes along with complex characters and intriguing set-ups result in a book that will suck in any interested reader.

Rogue & Gambit #1 is the romantic "will they or won't they" book that delivers, full of genuine dialogue and a couple that's plenty of fun to read.

Spider-Man #235 does build a little character development, but ultimately we're left waiting for more.

Spider-Man #236 does just enough to feel as if something has progressed, but an ineffective reveal and slow pacing still hinder the series.

Darth Vader #10 ends the fight with Jocasta Nu in a foreseeable manner, but still manages to provide action and development that would please any Star Wars fan.

Tales of Suspense #100 is a fun way to start off the adventures of Hawkeye and the Winter Soldier, complete with classic spy ideas and a duo that's sure to rub each other the wrong way.

The Further Adventures of Nick Wilson #1 is a grounded take on someone living an ordinary life past their prime. Sadly, it doesn't provide enough enjoyment to be something more than that.
