Skinbreaker #2 is an overall beautiful book, both in the storytelling and the artwork. If you are a fan of a good story and gorgeous art, but are questioning whether this fits into your usual type of comic, give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Have fun, comic lovers!

Skinbreaker #4 continues to treat us to an excellent story about change, while giving us some of the best artwork in comics. Halfway through the run, this story keeps bringing action and excitement. Have fun, comic lovers!

I'm coming right out the gate with a high rating. DC K.O. #1 is an event book that should get any DC fan absolutely excited for what's coming next. The buildup to this promises to pay off in a fun and, almost certainly, unexpected way. I highly recommend checking this one out if it has somehow escaped your reading list. Have fun, comic lovers!

DC K.O. #2 is a no holds barred trip into a tournament of DC heroes and villains fighting for survival. It's a blast to read because anything can happen. Have fun, comic lovers!

DC K.O.: Superman vs Captain Atom #1 gives us a dynamic opening round fight between two high-powered superheroes with a different viewpoint on how to win. If you like good art and an entertaining fight, grab this issue. Have fun, comic lovers!

Superman #30 is an all-around good conclusion to the three-part Legion of Darkseid story leading up to the events of DC K.O. The action is nonstop from beginning to end, the art is top notch, and there's plenty of excitement leading into the next issue. If you're behind on this title, issues 28, 29, and 30 are a good chance to catch up and have fun for the next major event.

Superman #31 keeps the pedal down on the DC K.O. story. It has a blend of action and emotion while progressing the events on our journey to the Heart of Apokolips. Have fun, comic lovers!

Superman #32 is a perfect tie-in issue for this DC KO event. It functions well as a standalone issue, but works best if you're reading the core book. Have fun, comic lovers!

Most of IDW's recent Trek offerings have included characters and settings we've been exposed to before. While Star Trek: The Last Starship #1 has its share of familiarity, we're given a fresh environment and character set to allow for an overall new and exciting experience.

Star Trek: The Last Starship #2 doesn't disappoint. While it doesn't quite reach the levels of the first issue in terms of "wow factor, there's plenty to love. Good action and character development, along with solid artwork, make this one to add to your pull list.

Star Trek: The Last Starship #3 ramps up the excitement in a big way. While it closes out the first chapter of the overall story in a strong manner, it sets the table for what's to come.

Overall, Superman: The Kryptonite Spectrum #2 is a fun Superman book that a new reader can pick up without having to know a lot about the character. Old fans of the character should find plenty to enjoy, as well. New kryptonite opens up new story potential and I'm excited to see what happens next!

Superman: The Kryptonite Spectrum #3 brings us past the halfway point in the series. The next issue will have us looking at whether Mxy is actually in need of help or if it's just another game to play. My bet is on the latter. If you haven't picked up this series, you're missing out on an upbeat Superman tale full of action and excitement. Have fun, comic lovers!

Superman: The Kryptonite Spectrum #5 wraps up a decidedly different, but entertaining, entry into the Superman titles. If you're looking for a Superman book that's a bit more atypical than usual, grab this one. Have fun, comic lovers!

Adventures of Superman: The Book of El #4 takes a lot of the focus off of Superman (don't worry, there's still plenty of him here) and gives us further insight into Kryl-Ux and Lanternholm. It's a solid entry, bringing us a third of the way through this 12-issue run. Have fun, comic lovers!

Adventures of Superman: The Book of El #5 has some very cool action moments, but its strength is in the writing about the love of family. If you're a fan of a good story, grab this title. Have fun, comic lovers!

While Superman: Unlimited #5 is not the best issue of the five so far, it helps to progress the story of Superman's new power and the impact that kryptonite is having on the world. It's a solid entry into what is shaping up to be a terrific ongoing Superman book. Dan Slott's writing on this book continues to be top notch. The art by Rafael Albuquerque and coloring by Marcelo Maiolo is vibrant and full of action. If you haven't been reading this title, it's not so far along that you can't jump in. Any fan of the Man of Steel should have this on their reading list.

I'll put this one on par with the previous issue. It does well with continuing the story and has plenty of action throughout. Through six issues, Superman Unlimited has been a fun read, making the Man of Steel vulnerable, but still super, thanks to his strong character. Have fun, comic lovers!

Superman Unlimited #8 is on par with the previous issue in terms of rating. It's more of a standalone story that doesn't focus heavily on Superman. Fans of Guy Gardner will want to check this one out, as he's his usual crabby self. Have fun, comic lovers!
