Nailbiter Returns to the stands with a vengeance. There's blood, death, told friends, and new acquaintances. With a little taste of YOU and Dexter, this run promises to delight. We learned the mystery of Buckaroo, but many parts were missing. Are these the missing parts or just more chaos from the hellish depths of Buckaroo? The mystery unravels.

Enter Grim Jim.

This story dips its feet all the way into fantasy. I'm loving this book and I can't wait to see where it goes from here. Thank you Scott Snyder and Charles Soule for another title to be excited for every month.

Andrea Sorrentino continues to amaze with his work on this title every month. Nothing I can say about his work that I've not already said in previous reviews. His work is amazing, it's haunting, and his panel layouts are unique in the industry. If there was a way to capture the weirdness of David Lynch cinema on a comic book page, Sorrentino does it.

For the other weirdos fascinated by the minds of evil people, this is a book for you.

All that being said, cops make many enemies every day. There's no telling who might have set up the insulting detective. Maybe next issue we'll see him get a little taste of his own medicine?

Stories like this always end up being less about what is happening and more about how the characters handle the situations. This is about human nature, and what people resort to when they are mistreated and cast aside. In desperate times we resort to desperate measures. What would you do to survive?

If you like something fantastical that still pulls elements from history and literature, add this book to your pull list. If you're stubborn you don't have to, but it would be cooler if you did.

If you like an 80's style horror story with art that brings back the nostalgia of old pulp horror creature features, or the original Friday the 13th, then Basketful of Heads from Joe Hill and Hill House comics is a title that should be on your pull list.

Undiscovered Country feels like a worthy successor to The Walking Dead and it couldn't come at a better time, because I'm sick of zombies.

The Joker cannot be stopped, you just have to hope he gets bored with you.

Something is Killing the Children #2 sets itself up for a big Hollywood pay day.

Hickman keeps the mutant train rolling and introduces many new characters with X-Men #1.

Admittedly I was not an avid X-Men fan, or a regular reader of any mutant titles for that matter. The extent of my X-Men knowledge was mostly learned from the 90's animated series, but Hickman has me hooked. He has hinted at so many possibilities for the future, and I'm excited for all of them.

Joker takes a henchmen under his wing and gives a glimpse of what it's like to ride side by side with evil.

With the last Powers of X issue heavy with information about machine societies, it only seems fitting that the finale will be right after mutants have established their lives on Krakoa. I think nano sentinels will infect Krakoa, and since "Make More Mutants" is one of the three laws, mutants will reproduce omega sentinels at alarming rates, and the machines will implode into a black hole.

Bruce Banner and his many personalities, come together for a common goal. Destroy everything.

The Shazam Who Laughs takes on the World's Finest as the BWL's plan begins to take shape.

Harleen #1 is her side of the story detailing how she became the murderous Harley Quinn.

Powers of X #5 shows Xavier and company have much more up their sleeve than just past knowledge & new tricks.

You Are Obsolete #1 is a slow burning mystery horror that will keep you on the edge.

While there might be a few aspects of this story that were not explained, that might come later, the art makes this one of the most beautiful books that has graced the shelves in 2019.
