Roy masterfully relates moments in a way that keeps the focus where it should be. Thus Roy allows readers to see things as he remembers. He also attempts to relate things very slightly from other peoples' point of view, particularly his son's.

Writer/artist EPHK creates a fast pace for this original story. However, it is arguably too fast due to how only sound effects and some plot points slow it down. Though no one can argue that there is any problem with the sequencing of the narrative. In fact the main reason this story is so fast is cause of how clearly EPHK conveys it.

‘Mega Centurions' asks the question: What happens to heroes after they finally defeat the bad guys? Cassie, Reggie and Thad are having to answer this very question. Will they be stuck in their respective ruts forever, or will a blast from their collective past change things?

In the midst of the war between the Maximals and Predacons a third front, The Vok, comes to the fore. Megatron and Optimus Primal don't see eye to eye. However, in order to survive the threat of the Vok a truce has to happen. Yet, how long will a truce hold with Megatron's arrogant and duplicitous nature in play?

The alliance between the Maximals and Predacons helps form defenses against the Vok. However, the Voks' deadline grows closer. Will the reluctant allies be able to stop the Vok? Or will the end of the Beast Wars mean the end of these Cybertronians?

The Beast Wars conclude their time at IDW with this issue. Optimus Primal has to trust Megatron to keep the truce while they fight the Vok. Yet, even if they succeed will the Beast Wars end for these robots in disguise? For that matter what will become of the Vok?

The Beast Wars between the Maximals and Predacons rage on. However, there are at least three stories that focus on what they may do outside of the wars. These are those stories. Yet, which, if any, of the three are true?
