    It's something of a mixed bag, this Annual. Some good artwork, a mediocre main story, and an entertaining if forgettable backup strip don't make for the worst collection in the world, but most will agree this issue's connection to X-Force is tenuous at best, and many -- myself included - will be disappointed with that.     X-Force Annual is only worth picking up if you are dying for another Wolverine or Deadpool story. The creative teams both do a nice job all around, but the Annual belongs in the “only if I have some spare cash” category.” Read Full Review

    For any other team, a narrow focus on one or two characters would be fine "- welcome, even. But taking the two most over-exposed characters in the Marvel Universe (with a total of 6 titles to their names) and billing it as an "X-Force" annual... well, to be honest, it's not really on, and in the end it sours the reading experience just that little bit more than it should.
