COLLISION PART 1 When X-23 went to Madripoor searching for secrets about her past, she didn't expect to find Daken. Will they be allies against a common enemy, or will this encounter lead to only one of them left standing?

If you set aside the stupid crossover with Daken (the series, not the character) and the presence of Gambit (who is dumb and just following X around in story), you have a neat story that fits X-23′s character really well combined with awesome art by Ryan Stegman & Michael Babinski. Well worth checking out! Read Full Review

First things first, when did it become common knowledge that Daken and Colcord were working together? I mean I thought it just suddenly happened in the last issue of Daken, but it seems that it's a well known fact or something now... Weird. As for the story here, I liked it. It's hard to screw up a comic that was leading up to an X-23/Daken fight, and this comic gave me what I expected. I'm not exactly sure where the story goes from here(I guess Colcord betrays Daken? Or maybe vice-versa?), but I was pretty happy with the first part of this x-over, which continues in the next issue of Daken: Dark Wolverine. Read Full Review

A pretty cool start to the crossover. X-23 and Gambit are hunting Daken but before they can confront him they stumble onto some sort of kidnapping ring. I'd be miffed at the delayed focus of the story but this was sufficiently executed with good art and writing such that I have faith even if it made things feel a little slow-moving up until when that fight finally happens. It is good once we get there, though. I liked seeing Madripoor with this art team and was pleased to have Tyger show up. This story ties into the stuff going on with Daken nicely.
