Summary: Peter tours On-Line Research in Emporia, Kansas in consideration of accepting a job offer from Jacoby, the company's head man. When an acetylene torch explodes, Peter (as Spidey), see construction boss, Wes Cassady, running at super-speed to contain the fires. Later, Spidey visits Cassady at his home to learn that he acquired his powers after being bitten by a radioactive rabbit. Cassady tells Spidey that he just wants to be normal. Dr. Nero, in the riot suit he developed, demands the plans for the secret projects the company is working on from Jacoby. Spidey confronts & fights to stop Nero. Spidey asks Cassady for help after being stunned by sonics, but Cassady declines to act. Spidey recovers to take Nero out. After arriving back home, Peter tells MJ that he wants to take the job. MJ tells him that she does not want to leave New York. more
