This final issue was packed full of suspense and what the heck moments. Tyler Boss puts on a masterclass on how to build suspense, as he keeps the readers on the edge of their seats for nearly the entire final issue. The reveal of who the real killer is makes a lot of sense and fits the story perfectly. My only qualm with the finish is there is a lot of what ends up being pointless dialogue into the build up of the actual finish. But the finale raps strong with an Afterword that gives me serious American Psycho vibes. Read Full Review
And then theres the end. Which is...the end. Its kind of difficult to tell a story involving a horror author writing about murders and then being exposed to them in person. Its such an obvious format for a murder drama. There would need to be more of a clever twist on the idea to make it feel like something that worth diving into on more than casually glancing read. The art was very muddled at the beginning. I get that the style, but it made it less engaging. I did like the direction the story went. Didn't really see it coming. Not the best. Not the worst. Enjoyed the series overall.
