The Earth opens up to swallow the JLU! Parademons swarm the Watchtower! The Time Trapper lies near-dead at Metamorpho’s feet?! Any one of these things is catastrophic, but all three simultaneously? Can Armageddon be far behind?
Justice League Unlimited #13 is one hell of an issue full of imagination and adventure! It's clear that Mr Terrific and his team have more trials to face along the way during their mission and if their losses and this issue is anything to go by, it's going to be pure CHAOS! Read Full Review

This is a full-on horror comic in ways Mora rarely gets to do, and the subplots play into that as well even Z-list villains like Rainbow Raider have become deadly, creating new powers that allow his colors to affect emotions. This is a great, creepy side story that continues to expand the world of DC Ko. Read Full Review
While not a key DC KO 2 tie-in, this issue helps to explain what the planet's first line of defense is doing with so many heavy hitters actively involved in the tournament. Read Full Review
Moras art is beautifully detailed throughout the issue. I love the imagery both of the heroes and their journey through hell. Read Full Review

The "Terrific Ten encounter dangers that leave scars and losses in its' wake. Waid masterfully weaves in the extended cast to face the drama. A team book like this amid an event, where most of the main characters have been whisked off elsewhere, has led to some fun creativity. Using a small capture of people who are destined to come to an end and sending them to hell to fight the good fight to get to Neron is certainly a choice. I love the over-the-top absurdity of it, but what absolutely sells it is the artwork from Mora. Just the intensity of the designs for the demons, locations, and general backgrounds is almost overpowering. You can understand why Terry is just kind of lost to things here and has a hard time getting back up as he grapples with this reality. It's a lot of fun and a kind of crazy chaos to wade through, but it keeps moving forward and trying to carry them all along to their destination. The artwork is a huge selling point to be sure, but it's just so crazy ‘that it might work for them” by the end. Read Full Review
This issue was less effective than previous ones, as it’s not crystal clear to me what Mr. Terrific and his team of time-lost heroes are hoping to do once they catch up with Neron. This tale of heroes fighting thru hell has been told before many times over the last few decades, and the stakes here aren’t particularly high since most of these heroes are just “snapshots” in time of their real selves, and thus completely expendable without any consequences. Hoping next month’s chapter is better. The art, as always, is amazing.
