The action and character work is excellent, but unfortunately this story has to wrap up in what feels like a bit of a hurry. There's a little bit of handwaving about the precise nature of the Unreality, but its all in service of a neat little plot, aided and abetted by some attractive art. I'm sorry to see this book go. again. Read Full Review
The stories and art of this series haven't been my favorite, but the writing and characters have been absolutely enjoyable. Numerous times per issue I just start grinning from the dialog and interactions. Overall this issue was a lot of fun, even if I didn't really care about the actual plot or what was happening. The characters, especially Barda, were so likeable and fun that I could just read hangout issues every month. I need a Barda and the Little Bat series now.
This was a solid ending to this series, and Kely Thompson writing makes this in my opinion the definitive Birds of Prey series
