Batman: The Last Halloween #10 ends the series with explosive action and emotional weight, beautifully rendered by Matteo Scalera, but its ambition slightly outweighs its clarity.                                 	I'm left scratching my head overall. What even was this story? Was it needed? I don't think so.
At least it was a nice shout-out to Tim Sale. I've enjoyed the different artists' takes in each issue. I really like Matteo Scalera's art in this final issue. It's worth reading the interview with him at the end. For me, this series has been all about the art. Unfortunately I think Jeph Loeb should have stayed away and enjoyed his legacy with classics like Long Halloween, Haunted Knight and Dark Victory. As a story, Hush is overrated in my humble opinion. And can we all just forget Hush2 is/was even a thing?!
I wonder how this will read in one go? I don't think I will be re-reading it though. If I want some Batman Halloween  more
